Marilyn B. Bailey
Marilyn is currently one of the co-costume designers at Asheville Community Theatre in Asheville, NC. During the summers, you can find her as the wardrobe supervisor, as well as the character Ma Perkins. Before moving to WNC, Marilyn was located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She received her MFA in Acting from Regent University while running the costume shop and designing for all the mainstage shows. She also had the opportunity to work on costumes for Busch Gardens Williamsburg and as an Assistant Professor of Costume Design at Hampton University. She has fifteen years of experience in costuming and design and even had a massive costume collection of her own that she rented out to local theatres. Marilyn take creative approaches to her designs and will work with you to help make your vision a reality.
